How can i upload to youtube in formats that have good quality fast?

I have a problem uploading to you tube.i use pinnacle studio 12 for my software and i capture call of duty gameplays with a dazzle dvc 100 capture card.when i finish capturing i use pinnacle studio 12 to edit my video and then when i save it and then upload it to youtube it takes 5 hours.one time it took a full week....:P.....now i just move the video to windows movie maker but it is in wmv format and the quality is crap.can you help me out with this.how can i upload in a great quality fast.i do have good connection speed.
